REST STOPS

The Fall Foliage Bike Festival is known for its great rest stops. Manned by volunteer groups from around Augusta County, each rest stop is encouraged to offer up a variety of homemade snacks to supplement the water, sports drink and fresh fruit each stop is provided.

SATURDAY LUNCH

Our Saturday lunch stop is well-known as one of the finest ride lunches in the country. A HUGE buffet spread of sandwich makings, salads, soups, stews and desserts offers up plenty of choice fro hungry riders of all ages. The Beverley Manor Ruritan Club and lunch organizers Robin and Mike Ruleman work all year to plan for this event (their largest fundraiser of the entire year).

LIVE MUSIC

For the past five years, we’ve been pleased to present some of the finest local roots music during the lunch stop. Back again from 2018 and 2019 is OLD HAT, a Staunton-Based band that enjoys playing the blues, Americana, honky-tonk, and rock and roll!

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

If we all do our part, we can make the return to group cycling as safe as possible! Please take a minute to review these safe cycling protocols.

HAND WASHING-SANITIZE STATIONS

We’ll have extra sanitizing stations available at all Rest Stops and Meal Areas. Please use these before proceeding to the food or beverage areas. Hand washing or sanitizing stations will be near all portable rest stop toilets and will be available at St. Paul’s Church for registration and check-in.

IF YOU FEEL ILL, OR COME INTO CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS COVID-19, STAY HOME!

We want to ride with you, but we also want to provide a safe atmosphere for our volunteers, staff and your fellow cyclists. If you are showing symptoms of COVID019 (fever, shortness of breath, headache, etc.) or have come into contact with someone who has COVID-19, please stay home. We look forward to riding with you at a future Fall Foliage Bike Festival. If you catch COVID or come into contact with some who has it right before the ride, please contact us for details on a future ride credit.

Mandatory Mask Zones

We’re requiring that all participants, volunteers and staff wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth while in these areas:

  • Registration/Packet Pick-up
  • Pre-start Century Saturday Morning
  • Rest Stops
  • In line for Saturday lunch/Sunday breakfast
  • SAG vehicles
