Sunday’s rides pass through some breathtaking scenery

60.9 miles 

STARTS AT: Middlebrook Community Center (Directions) | Please be sure to start this route by 9 a.m. to ensure full SAG support. The Sunday Metric* travels to some stunning vistas including stops at the scenic Maury River Gorge overlook in Goshen.  Note that much of the route coming back from Maury River Gorge (to the Newport Rd rest stop) has a lot of uphill climbs. *We eliminated the full Century ride from Sunday’s routes last year; however, if you’d like to ride a Century on Sunday, you can simply add both the 26-miler (Green) and the Family Loop (pink) to this Metric!

26.5 miles 

STARTS AT: MIDDLEBROOK COMMUNITY CENTER (Directions) |  The Sunday 26-miler is by far the most popular ride on Sunday, traveling through the farmland of southern Augusta County past historic Lucas Mill and the Shemariah Cemetery.

25.2 miles 

STARTS AT: MIDDLEBROOK COMMUNITY CENTER (Directions) |  The Sunday Gravel takes you on some lovely farmland roads and past the historic Wade’s Mill, circa 1750.

9.5 miles 

STARTS AT: MIDDLEBROOK COMMUNITY CENTER (Directions) |  After a slight climb out of the center of Middlebrook, The Sunday Family Loop takes you on some lovely farmland roads and past Mish Barn.

Our routes are clearly marked with directional arrows on the pavement in the color of the route you’re riding. Plus, we give everyone a copy of our full-color route guide which has both the cues and the map for each route on perforated pages for easy tear-out. Finally, we have route marshals riding every route and a fantastic Radio Club SAG team to help direct and assist anyone.
